Dove Tails Policies and Other Important Information
Make your celebration or tribute even more special with a ceremonial dove release. Before requesting to have our birds set free during your event, here are a few things that you need to know:
Restrictions
Releasing the doves in thunderstorms, fog, and severe winds is not allowed. These unfavorable weather conditions can interfere with their ability to go home safely and endanger their well-being.
Release Area
Dove Tails serves most of Maryland. If you wish to release the doves in southern Maryland, there will be an additional fee of $50.
Where the Birds Go
My clients sometimes ask me about what happens to the doves after they are set free. I’m happy to let you know that the birds are trained to navigate back to their home loft and up to their individual nests.
